Hetsco is proud to announce that, due to client requests, Hetsco has entered into the repair of Hydrogen SMR furnaces. With the metallurgies involved in the H2 furnaces it was a natural progression to Ethylene, VCM and Styrene furnaces as well. Our crews also have the ability to work on crude, coker, vacuum, and all other types of furnaces in refineries.
Hetsco’s high alloy specialty welders are also adept at installing piping in plants and removing/replacing piping in new or existing pipe racks and flare lines.
Hetsco maintains the highest level of QA/QC welding and fabrication procedures that meet the rigorous requirements of the National Board of Inspectors code (NBIC). Hetsco has been granted the stamp for repair of ASME pressure vessels as well as the stamp for the authorized fabrication of unfired pressure vessels and the stamp for steam piping fabrication.
Hetsco maintains two shops — one in Greenwood, IN (just south of Indianapolis) and also in Houston, TX.
The Greenwood shop has 51,000 square feet of shop space, 4 overhead cranes with 28’ hook height and 110 ton capacity (2x30 ton, 2x25 ton). The shop sits on 11 acres and is central to shipping throughout the USA. (In April/May 2015 Hetsco's Greenwood Indiana shop will move to a new facility in Franklin Indiana.)
The Houston shop has 32,500 square feet of shop space, and two 10-ton overhead cranes and two 5-ton overhead cranes with all of the cranes having 20’ hook height. The shop sits on 12 acres and is convenient to shipping by truck or water across the USA or overseas.
The following list is some of the many areas of fabrication that Hetsco has completed:
Hetsco has experienced crews available to facilitate the planning, scheduling, and field execution of your planned or unplanned furnace project. Our crews are experienced in SMR’s, Ethylene, and VCM furnaces, as well as Crude, Vacuum, Coker and other refinery heaters.
