Responding to changes in industry safety requirements, in 1994 Hetsco created USA Response, a division dedicated to providing Permitted Confined Space services augmenting the one-call approach to providing highly specialized welders and safety service to the industry.
A Permitted Confined Space is a space with a potentially hazardous atmosphere not designed for continuous occupancy and has limited or restricted means of entry or exit.
HETSCO can provide personnel fully trained in permit issuance, job safety analysis, hazard recognition, hole watch responsibilities, CPR, and rescue techniques. We can also provide all Confined Space rescue equipment including tripod and winch, harnesses and lanyards, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and atmospheric monitoring equipment.
