Plant Relocation (Southwest)

HETSCO served as the contractor for the relocation and construction of a 550 TPD air separation plant from Vineyard, UT to Tupman, CA and provided the following services:

• Bracing and Supports for PHX Box, N2 Superheater Box & Column Box
• Relocate Compressor Motors, Cryogenic Storage Tanks, Automatic Valves and Instrumentation, Dust Filter, DCA, Piping.
  
• Remove/Erect PHX (48'/148,900 lb.), N2 Superheater (67'/75,000 lb.), Column Package (100'/107,000 lb.)
  
• Provided Engineering Calculations and Drawings for Dismantling and scrapping Argon Column
  
• Provided Transportation for all Equipment
  
• Relocate and Install Turbine Expander with Modifications
  
• 2 Dimensional Alignment and structurally modified PHX, Columns, & Ducts to meet Seismic Requirements
  
• Extensive Piping Modifications to N2 Column for Process Requirements
  
• Removal and Modifications to Column Trays and Downcomers
  
• Grouting of PHX and Column
  
• Pressure Testing of PHX, Superheater, Column and all Associated Piping
• Oxygen Cleaning of necessary Piping
  
• NDT of Weld Requirements to B31.3
