Sam Willard, President and General Manager
Mr. Willard has been with HETSCO since 1995 and currently serves as President and General Manager. He works with new and existing clients for project planning, execution and technical support. Mr. Willard has 35+ years in the industrial gas and petrochemical industry in the production, sales, maintenance, construction and service areas.
On a day to day basis Mr. Willard leads the entire team of HETSCO to provide estimates, scheduling and execution of field repairs, cold box refurbishments, vessel alterations and new vessel fabrication. He maintains and obtains state licenses, ASME and NBIC authorizations. As with other key management personnel, MR. Willard is responsible for HETSCO’s Safety Program and implementation.
Prior to HETSCO, Mr. Willard spent 18 years with Airco/BOC Gases and held several leadership roles within the organization. Responsibilities included annual budgets, facility production, maintenance, turnarounds, re-locations, new construction and customer liaison.
Mr. Willard attended Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis and Indiana Wesleyan College for engineering and business and is a Licensed Contractor in California, Kentucky, New Mexico and West Virginia.
